Club Dead[]
In Club Dead, When Sookie drives off Russell's property at dawn with Bill stashed in the trunk, gate guard Doug casually asks her if she's returning for the "crucifixion." If he hadn't mentioned it, Bubba might have met his second end in his home state at the hands of vampires and werewolves who didn't recognize him as the real thing.
