Photokinesis (also called Light Manipulation and Nature Channeling) is the ability to project and control light and nature. Fairies are the only species shown to possess this power. A Fae with this ability can channel nature through their body and project it in a concentrated and powerful blast of light which seems to manifest as kinetic force, conclusively throwing or repelling objects a considerable distance.
Sookie Stackhouse
Sookie was shown to possess this ability. She used it on Maryann and Cooter. ("Frenzy") ("Trouble") At the end of Season 2, Sookie used her photokinesis[1] In the episode Evil is Going On when Sookie came back from her dream about the mysterious chandelier, she discovered Eric was outside in the sun with Russell. Sookie went outside to try to save Eric. After unsuccessfully trying to remove the handcuff from Eric's wrist, Russell threatened her saying that if she did not free him he would kill Eric, Bill and anyone she ever cared about. Enraged by this, Sookie shot out a blast of light, breaking the chain of the handcuffs.
