Michael Raymond James portrays Rene in True Blood
Drew Marshall was René Lenier's true identity. Not much is known about Drew Marshall's (René Lenier's) life prior to arriving in Bon Temps. He had a sister named Cindy who was a waitress at a pie shop. It is also known that Drew harbored a pathological hatred for vampires and fangbangers, in the books series it states that he hated them so much so that he killed and raped his own sister in a fit of rage, because she had slept with a vampire in the book "You'll Be the Death of Me". He was known in Bon Temps as Arlene Fowler's boyfriend, and worked on rhe road crew with Jason, Hoyt and Lafayette.
